Handmade premium Maduro Torpedo cigars by Tony Alvarez are aged and have a nice medium bodied taste. The wrapper is an exquisite Maduro sun-grown habano tobacco leaf. The binder and pure long fillers are finely cured Cuban-seed habano. This combination provides a creamy with well balanced and complex earthy, cocoa & woody taste. It has sweet notes of nuts and finishes with a mild chocolate undertone.

Tony has been making fine cigars for years and these prove his talents. Read about his history and accomplishments below. He personally supervises each roller in the creation of these torpedo cigars, and some of the cigars are even made by the man himself. Each Habano Torpedo cigar is 6 inches long with a ring gauge of 52. 25 cigars are hand packed in a cellophane bundle. At these prices it is like buying the cigars wholesale. Tony Alvarez is a Cuban Master cigar maker. He grew tobacco and hand rolled perfect cigars in Cuba for Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta and Cohiba. He then fled Cuba and while in Miami, Florida rolled for Don Tito, La Gloria Cubana and eventually started CAONAO cigars with his partners. Tony knows cigars so he sold his interest in that company and went to Esteli, Nicaragua to open his own small factory.

His cigars are all totally made by hand, and many he makes himself. He only uses the best wrappers, binders and fillers to make these torpedo cigars. As in the traditional cuban cigar factory, cigars do not leave his factory until he personally inspects them. They are all top premium cigars. That is the only way that Tony knows how to make them.

MEDIUM-BODIED. Creamy with well balanced and complex earthy, cocoa & woody tastes. It has sweet notes of nuts and finishes with a mild chocolate undertone. Bundle of 25 cigars.

    The wrapper is fragile and easily torn up while smoking unless you're consciousness about how you handle/smoke it.

    Great looking Cigar and the aroma pre-lighting was just amazing. The cut and purge absolutely perfect; And I loved the wrapper and wrapper colour which to be honest is just the way I like my Cigars. There were a few veins showing running through the wrapper but I think that adds to the character of this Cigar. I make a rule never to mention flavours because flavour is a personal thing, but I found a very enjoyable sense of spicy pepper that was extremely enjoyable. The light, burn and draw excellent and burn even throughout the smoke. I bought a pack to try and the aroma in the humidor was very pleasant and I have now moved to an ageing humidor for twelve months as I believe these Cigars will improve greatly in aroma and flavour with age. In summary I enjoyed these Cigars immensely and I had a lot of fun chatting and relighting this Cigar whilst going about my day. Tony Alvarez is now on my regular shopping list. I want to try the 7 x 58 on my next order.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
